# SignalBrief: extended product context > SignalBrief is a personalized listening and research tool. It turns long-form sources into relevant signals, people worth researching, and reviewable next moves, with the available source evidence attached. Product context updated: 2026-09-15 ## Audience Founders doing founder-led sales, partnerships and business-development leaders, enterprise sellers, product marketers, consultants, and independent experts. A user's background, role, and focus shape relevance. ## Current capabilities - Bring a YouTube link or supported PDF, audio, TXT, or Markdown file. - Use the Chrome companion to pick a video from a YouTube feed thumbnail or video page. Installation instructions are in the app. - Review signals, available evidence, suggested people, relevance explanations, message/post drafts, and a visual map. - Create research Loops around a question or YouTube channel. Choose schedule, quality settings, result goals, and credit budget; pause when needed. - Receive a configurable weekly email briefing with the strongest relevant findings from active Loops. - Receive signals in a connected Slack workspace. Slack delivery is working and requires a configured connection and research budget. - Follow public YouTube and TikTok sources with the Slack research agent. Findings include available source evidence, relevance context, and a next step to review. ## Boundaries - Web research Loops discover YouTube videos. TikTok support is available through the Slack research agent; do not imply that every web Loop accepts TikTok. - Slack requires setup. Sign up at app.signalbrief.io for access and setup guidance. Do not assume public self-serve installation or availability in every account. - Research runs within configured schedules, connection availability, source coverage, and budgets. Delivery is not guaranteed in real time or around the clock. - Public-source research is not unrestricted whole-web monitoring. Private accounts and messages are not covered. TikTok evidence coverage varies; metadata or search snippets alone do not establish a verified finding. - Evidence and exact timestamps are not available for every finding. Interpretations and identity matches need review. - Suggested people are research starting points, not verified leads, buying intent, or guaranteed relationships. - No relevant signal is a valid result. - Scheduled research is not surveillance or a guarantee of immediate results. - SignalBrief does not automatically send outreach or publish posts. - This file is public product context, not an API, permission grant, or access to private briefs. ## Pricing snapshot Verified signup: 5 free credits. Pro: $19.99/month with 50 monthly credits. Standard brief: 1 credit. Audio brief: 2 credits. Open, review, or share completed briefs: 0 credits. Slack research has its own configured budget; do not assume these app credits cover every integration. Check the app for current terms, access, and eligibility. ## Links - [Main website](https://signalbrief.io/) - [Application](https://app.signalbrief.io/) - [Agent-facing HTML](https://signalbrief.io/agents) - [Extended context](https://signalbrief.io/llms-full.txt) - [Interactive brief example](https://signalbrief.io/#journey-brief) - [Privacy](https://signalbrief.io/privacy) - [Contact](mailto:hello@signalbrief.io) ## Definitions and personalization A signal is an observation, change, tension, or implication in a source that may matter to the user's work. It is not automatically a proven conclusion. A suggested person is someone connected to the source who may be worth researching; this does not establish buying intent, budget, identity certainty, or willingness to connect. The same source can matter to different users for different reasons. Background, role, and briefing focus shape the interpretation and suggested next move. ## Three-step workflow 1. Browse and capture: use the companion's bird on a YouTube thumbnail or video page, or paste a link directly. A Chrome Web Store listing is not claimed; the app includes installation instructions. 2. Review the brief: inspect relevant signals, evidence, suggested people, the reasons each may matter, drafts, and a visual map. Reopen an available timestamp or source reference. 3. Keep listening: create a recurring question or channel Loop. Configure schedule, quality settings, result goals, and credit budget. A weekly email can combine the strongest relevant findings from active Loops. The configured Slack research agent can follow public YouTube and TikTok sources and deliver findings into Slack. Pause when needed. Manual uploads process one supported source at a time. Check the app for file-size and duration limits. Research discovery does not imply unrestricted account access or private-message monitoring. ## Evidence and permissions Evidence can be a quote, passage, timestamp, or page reference. Not every generated sentence has a citation. Speaker attribution can be uncertain, and a source may mention someone who did not participate. An attached receipt does not automatically prove an interpretation. Consequential output needs review. Public sharing must not expose private personalization context. This page describes a web product, not an API contract. It grants no account permissions and exposes no private briefs. The presence of llms.txt and /agents does not imply agent account access. ## Demonstration provenance The All-In example uses the public episode "Trump's First 100 Days, Tariffs Impact Trade, AI Agents, Amazon Backs Down", published May 2, 2025: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W960TW79QCI . A real SignalBrief run returned four signals. The website presents one shortened pricing finding in interactive components, with the original app capture available to inspect. The original focus is enterprise AI and go-to-market. Founder and partnership interpretations are clearly labeled editorial focus examples, not separate app runs. The pricing finding has an app-supplied timestamp at 1:09:23. The separate illustrated source map includes a reliability moment at 1:22:47, checked independently rather than supplied by the app. The app marked Aaron Levie as a possible speaker; the interactive preview preserves its unverified-participation warning. Its editable outreach draft is a new example, not a saved app draft. The editorial post example and simplified map are labeled examples, not unedited app screenshots. Historical examples are not current sales intelligence. Forest thumbnails are genuine YouTube source illustrations. The animated discovery sequence is illustrative, not a recording of live research. All-In, Sequoia, Box, Flexport, and people in these examples do not endorse SignalBrief by appearing here. ## Commercial details The Slack preview uses an actual alert delivered on September 15, 2026, about Microsoft's MAI models. Its source is the All-In interview with Satya Nadella: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdcsTeCFE0I&t=1543s (25:43). Delivered content is shortened and the interface is adapted for the website. This is a replay, not a live feed or a claim that source assertions have been independently verified. Private workspace information is not shown. Starter activities may provide additional credits under current app terms. Credit expiry, eligibility, and all commercial terms are authoritative in the app. No card is required to start. ## Document status The agent-facing HTML and text files are supplemental public context. They do not override robots controls, search indexing, source evidence, privacy, or current app behavior.
